A Splash of Colour

This lime-green Routemaster was parked outside my office today to brighten up an otherwise very grey and drab day. Co-incidentally, the road under my office window is called Regent Street - a nice bit of serendipity there and probably makes the bus feel back at home.

Server Room Spin Cycle

No time to go out and take pictures today due to constant fiff-faffing, (and the fact that it's been grey as a witch's tit outside). Here instead the camera has captured a pretty good impression of what happens if you were to stand in the server room in the dark and spin round 'till you were dizzy. A bit like my job today in fact.

Strike a light

Saw this done on t'interweb this morning on an 'Oh wow, look!' website and by teatime I'd copied it. It was surprisingly easy to do, although my thumb is very red from repeated attempts. This is a disposable lighter at the moment of striking.

Harvest of plenty

The Lord Lambourne apple tree yielded its harvest today. This is about 1/3 of the apples from what is a pretty small tree!
